Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 19 September 2026

Welcome to Luxury Exchange Hub. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") set out the basis on which we sell watches and related items to you, buy or take watches in part exchange from you, and provide our valuations and related services. They also govern your use of this website.

By placing an order, submitting a watch for valuation, accepting a quote, or otherwise transacting with us, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website or transact with us.

These Terms should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, Data Protection Policy, Returns & Refunds Policy and Delivery Information, each of which forms part of your agreement with us.

1. Who We Are

This website is operated by THE LUXURY EXCHANGE GROUP LTD, trading as Luxury Exchange Hub ("we", "us", "our").

  • Legal entity: THE LUXURY EXCHANGE GROUP LTD
  • Company number: 16650862
  • Registered office: Bartle House, Oxford Court, Manchester, M2 3WQ, United Kingdom

We are a member of the National Association of Jewellers (membership no. NAJ-73735).

2. These Terms

2.1 These Terms apply to all sales, purchases, part exchanges and valuations carried out by us, whether online, by telephone, by email, by WhatsApp or in person. Where a separate written agreement applies (for example our affiliate programme), that agreement takes precedence to the extent of any conflict.

2.2 We may update these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or in our services. The version in force at the time you place an order or submit a watch to us is the version that applies to that transaction. The "Last Updated" date above shows when these Terms were last revised.

2.3 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

3. Products, Condition and Descriptions

3.1 We specialise in pre-owned, vintage and collectible luxury watches. Unless expressly stated otherwise, every watch we sell is pre-owned and may show signs of wear consistent with its age and previous use.

3.2 We describe each watch as accurately as we reasonably can, including its reference, year, movement, materials and any known condition notes, such as polishing, refinishing or replacement parts. Photographs, videos and measurements are provided for guidance, and small variations in colour can occur between screens.

3.3 Availability is subject to change. All items are offered subject to prior sale and to our confirmation of availability.

3.4 Where a watch is described as "boxed" or "with papers", this refers to the specific accessories listed in the item description. Other accessories shown are for illustration only unless stated.

3.5 We are an independent retailer. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an authorised dealer of any watch manufacturer. All brand names, model names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the items offered.

4. Authenticity Guarantee

4.1 Every timepiece we sell undergoes a detailed authentication process carried out by our specialists before it is offered for sale.

4.2 We guarantee that the watches we sell are genuine. Where documentation is supplied, it is supplied as provided with the watch, and we make no representation as to the accuracy of any third-party certificate, service record or receipt beyond describing what is supplied.

4.3 If you believe that a watch purchased from us is not authentic, please contact us immediately with your order details. We will investigate, and where an item is found not to be authentic we will provide a full refund, including your reasonable return delivery costs, in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

5. Orders and Our Acceptance

5.1 Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order, either by dispatching the item or by sending you a written order confirmation, whichever happens first.

5.2 We may decline or cancel an order, and refund any amount paid, where: the item is no longer available; the price or description contained an obvious error; we are unable to verify your identity, address or payment details; or we are required or entitled to do so by law or under our anti-money laundering, sanctions or fraud-prevention obligations.

5.3 Where we cancel an order after payment has been made, we will refund the amount paid to the original payment method without undue delay.

6. Prices, Payment and Title

6.1 Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and are payable in GBP. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout or confirmed to you in writing before payment.

6.2 We accept payment by the methods offered at checkout, or as otherwise agreed with you in writing, including bank transfer. Orders are accepted subject to our receipt of cleared funds.

6.3 Title in the goods passes to you once we have received payment in full and the item has been delivered to you or collected by you.

6.4 Prices and offers are valid for the period stated, or while the relevant listing remains published. A price may be withdrawn or corrected at any time before we confirm your order.

7. Delivery and Collection

7.1 We arrange secure, insured delivery for high-value items using approved services. Eligible UK orders are normally dispatched on the next working day once payment and any required checks are complete. Shipments are fully insured and require a signature on delivery, and we provide tracking information as soon as your timepiece is dispatched.

7.2 Collection in person is available by prior appointment at an agreed location. Please bring valid photo identification and proof of purchase.

7.3 International delivery may be available for selected destinations and items. Any customs duties, import taxes or local fees are the buyer’s responsibility and must be settled directly with the relevant customs authority. See our Delivery Information for details.

7.4 Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. If you refuse or fail to accept delivery, we may charge you our reasonable costs of redelivery or storage, in accordance with applicable law.

8. Your Right to Cancel (UK Distance Sales)

If you are a consumer and your order was placed online, by telephone or by email for delivery within the UK, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the item, in accordance with applicable UK consumer law. To cancel, you must notify us in writing, by email, within that period. Returns are then handled in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy. This right is in addition to your rights in respect of faulty or misdescribed goods.

9. Returns, Refunds and Faulty Items

9.1 Any returned watch must be sent back in the same condition in which it was supplied, with no additional wear, damage, alteration or interference after delivery, and with all boxes, papers, accessories, tags and documentation originally supplied.

9.2 Refunds are made using the original payment method, and may be made once we have received and inspected the returned item, or once satisfactory evidence of return has been provided.

9.3 Nothing in these Terms, or in our Returns & Refunds Policy, affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, or equivalent legislation where you live.

10. Selling to Us and Part Exchange

10.1 When you ask us to buy your watch, or to take it in part exchange, we will provide an indicative valuation based on the information and images you supply.

10.2 Indicative valuations are not binding offers. We may revise an offer following physical inspection of the watch. We may also decline to proceed where the watch differs materially from the description given, where its provenance or lawful ownership cannot be established, or where it has been reported lost or stolen.

10.3 By submitting a watch to us, you confirm that: you are the lawful owner, or are authorised by the lawful owner, to sell or exchange it; the watch is free from any finance agreement, lien, charge or third-party claim; and the watch has not been reported lost or stolen and is not the subject of any dispute.

10.4 Where we agree a purchase or part exchange, ownership of the watch you provide passes to us when we accept the item following inspection and we agree final terms with you. Payment, or credit against your order, is then made in accordance with the agreed terms.

10.5 Where we sell a watch on your behalf under a consignment arrangement, the specific terms, including commission and payment timescales, will be confirmed to you in writing before the watch is listed.

11. Warranty

11.1 We warrant that the watches we sell are authentic, as described in clause 4, and that they correspond with their description at the time of sale.

11.2 Where a manufacturer’s warranty remains valid and is transferable, we will provide the relevant documentation with the watch.

11.3 Any additional warranty or guarantee offered by us will be stated in the item description or confirmed in writing at the time of sale. Nothing in this clause limits your statutory rights, including under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

11.4 A warranty or guarantee does not cover fair wear and tear, accidental damage, water ingress, unauthorised repair or modification, or damage caused by failing to follow the manufacturer’s guidance.

12. Identity, Anti-Fraud and Regulatory Checks

To protect both parties, and to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money laundering, sanctions and fraud-prevention requirements, we may ask you for identification, proof of address and information about the source of funds. We may refuse, suspend or cancel a transaction where these checks cannot be satisfied, or where we are otherwise required or entitled to do so.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos, video and design, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without our written permission. Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

14. Limitation of Liability

14.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

14.2 Subject to clause 14.1, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any transaction is limited to the amount you paid to us for the item concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, opportunity or goodwill, that we could not reasonably have foreseen.

14.3 We take care to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, and we are not responsible for the content of third-party websites we link to.

15. Events Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays or for failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including postal, courier or customs delays, supplier or service failures, illness, or severe weather. We will contact you promptly if such an event occurs, and will do what we reasonably can to minimise its effect.

16. Complaints and Dispute Resolution

16.1 If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us first at hello@luxuryexchangehub.com. We aim to acknowledge complaints promptly and to resolve them as quickly as we can.

16.2 We hope to resolve any dispute directly with you. Nothing in this clause prevents you from contacting a relevant consumer body, or from bringing a claim in the courts of England and Wales, or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts of your home nation.

17. General

17.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

17.2 This contract is between you and us. No other person has any right to enforce its terms.

17.3 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another business, and will notify you in writing if we do. You may not transfer your rights without our written consent.

18. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that, if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
